The Bavarian Forest is our home and our source of strength. Here, nature is allowed to be nature, and wilderness is given space to thrive. Treating nature and our resources with respect is therefore particularly important to us. Natural building materials, wood from local forests and granite from the national park characterise the atmosphere of the Naturhotel and chalets.
We heat with renewable raw materials, have green roofs, treat rainwater, have our own solar power system on the roof of our headquarters, and utilise heat recovery.
We also have a charging station for e-bikes and e-cars. Wherever possible, we avoid plastic and packaging waste.
Sustainability is also a key issue in our kitchen: we do not waste any food, we cook fresh meals, we use regional and seasonal products, and we offer numerous vegetarian and vegan dishes on our menu.
In this way, we do our best to bring the concept of sustainability to life and treat nature with love and respect.
Cleanliness and your well-being are just as important to us as protecting our natural environment. That's why we automatically clean your room after the third night – or earlier, if you wish.
This policy allows us to reduce our consumption of water, cleaning products and energy. In this way, we can work together to preserve the beautiful natural environment of the Bavarian Forest.
