You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. For cancellations made between 20 and 15 days before arrival, we will charge 50% of the accommodation price; for cancellations made 14 days or less before arrival, we will charge 90%. In the event of a no-show or early departure, we will charge the full amount. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

At the Naturhotel:

• 14 years and over → full price

A later departure is only possible on request and subject to availability (see Late Check-Out).

Dogs are only permitted in the Dorfblick Balkon room at our main building. The price per day, excluding food, is 30 euros.

You are welcome to store your e-bikes in our lockable bike storage room at our main building during your stay. This service is free of charge.

Our carport at the country inn has space for two electric cars, which can of course be charged there for an additional fee. Please enquire at reception about the price for charging. (Subject to availability)

The nearest golf course, the “Golfclub am Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald e. V.”, is located in Haslach, around 3 km away, and features an 18-hole course. You can enjoy a discount on green fees with the National Park Card.

If required, you can borrow hiking/walking poles free of charge from our reception.

Your room key card opens the hotel entrance, your room door and all the relevant access points.

Our key box, secured by a PIN code, is located at the rear entrance of our main building and allows you to check in at any time of the day or night.

Would you like to sleep in a bit longer or spend some more time at the Woid Spa? You are welcome to extend your stay until 3 pm for a fee.

For stays of 7 nights or more, a deduction of 10 euros per day per person will be applied to your bill.

The benefits of the tourist tax: With your guest card, you’ll enjoy a range of perks, such as free travel on all buses and trains in the national park region, as well as many other attractive discounts.

Smoking is not permitted in our hotel, rooms, suites or chalets. Any breach of this rule will result in a charge of €100 per room cleaning. In the event of any damage, such as burn holes etc., we reserve the right to charge for the cost of repairs or replacement. Should the accommodation no longer be available for letting, the full cost of the loss of income will be payable.

If you would like a packed lunch for the following day, please feel free to order it at reception by 6.00 pm. Price per person: €8.50.

Your room reservation becomes binding upon receipt of our booking confirmation by email, fax or post.

Cleanliness and your comfort are just as important to us as protecting the environment. That’s why we automatically clean your room from the third night onwards – or daily, if you prefer. Just let us know.

Your room key card unlocks your room door, the wellness area and, of course, the hotel entrance. If you lose it, we will charge you €5. On the day of departure, your card will be automatically deactivated from 11 am.

Your room safe is located in the wardrobe.

In the village, you will find a small grocery shop, a florist and a petrol station with a 24-hour self-service pump.

You can store your skis in our lockable room right next to the country inn. This service is free of charge.

Please note that smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel and in the Woidhaisl. In the event of damage, we reserve the right to charge for the resulting repair or replacement costs.

We also reserve the right to charge an additional €100 per room cleaning for any failure to comply. Should the accommodation no longer be available for letting, the full cancellation costs will be payable.

We offer snowshoes, sledge and cross-country skiing equipment for hire. Please note: cross-country skiing equipment (subject to a fee & by prior booking).

The Neuschönau Tourist Office is located at 13 Kaiserstraße, right in the centre of the village.

Adults €2.50 per day, children €1.25 per day – the tourist tax is levied by the local council and is payable with your room bill.

Towels on the floor mean “please change them”. Towels on the rack mean “they will be used again”.
